The Hayward Serenity Club is a meeting and gathering place for all individuals, family & friends who seek recovery through the 12 Steps.
The Club is owned and operated by the Alano Society of Sawyer County, WI Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Alano Society has been in existence since 1976 starting out in the “little red house” in downtown Hayward.
The current property, near the Lake Hayward dam, was purchased in the mid-90’s and the building went up soon after with the help and devotion of many volunteers.
In 2008, through fundraising and a grant from the Helen Bader Foundation, we were able to make many improvements including our Camel Café.
Today we are very proud of our facility and what we have to offer. We hope you will visit us soon.
